I normally keep a can of Quaker Oats in me office. I hadn’t eaten it in months and was afraid of the expiry. So I checked, and thankfully it showed 2009.

On a mission to turn over a new leaf, I made up my mind to be healthy and eat my oats. Well that’s what the health columns tell you to do anyway.

Unfortunately when I opened the tin, I found a mossy green jungle in there. Damn Malaysian humidity.

Regardless, to make good on a bad situation, I asked myself, “What would Bear Grylls do?”

Remembering that moss always grows on the North side, I headed north to McDs and got me some hashbrowns and OJ.
